College Service Scheme – Helpers Wanted

With the year getting well and truly underway, there are more opportunities for Parents and Guardians to help out as part of the College Service Scheme.
We are hoping to hear from any parents/guardians who are interested in supporting the Year 9/10 Outdoor Education program. The outings would involve accompanying the students and teaching staff during the sessions below. If you are interested, please feel free to volunteer for one or more of the sessions.
Bushing Walking Session

  • Wednesday February 28
    8.45 – 10.10am
    1 helper required
  • Wednesday February 28
    2.00 – 3.30

The sessions will take place on the Macedon Ranges Walking Trail.
Students and teachers will take buses to the walking track.
The walking is usually at a medium to high intensity so an appropriate level of fitness would be required.
Excursion to Exercise Research Australia, Thornbury

Staff, students and helpers will take a bus to the location.
The bus will depart the College at 7.45am and return by 1.20pm.

If you would like to register your interest in either or all of these sessions, please email css@braemar.vic.edu.au
We look forward to hearing from you, and thank you in anticipation for your support.

Please note: You will need to hold a current Working with Children Check card or be willing to obtain one to volunteer for these sessions. Any hours contributed can be recorded for College Service Scheme purposes.
