Amazing fundraising effort by a Year 8

Shaelyn Connor (Year 8) is taking place in an amazing fundraising event this weekend, Saturday, 24 February.
Shaelyn will be walking 65kms to raise funds for cystic fibrosis. The offical walk is taking place in Sydney and will start at 2am on Saturday. To ease the travel time and make it more feasible for Shaelyn and her Dad to complete the 65kms, they have been granted approval to complete the walk much closer to home, in Sunbury. They’re expecting the walk to take approximately eighteen hours, and are attempting to walk the entire 65kms – or as much as they possibly can!
Shaelyn’s goal is to raise $500 for the cause, which is very close to her heart as she has a cousin with cystic fibrosis.
Shaelyn’s supporter page is active and ready to receive donations, so if you’d like to show your support for Shaelyn and this great cause, click here!
