AFL Sun Country Cup
Over the last few weeks, our senior boys AFL team have been competing in the Sun Country Cup. The team have done a fantastic job so far, making it through both Round One and Two as the winners.
The results from Round One saw Braemar beat Maryborough (10.12.72 vs 10.10.70); the top players for the day were Darcy Doyle, Finn Urie, and Sebastien Bell-Bartels.
In Round Two, our Braemar team were once again victorious, beating Bendigo Senior Secondary, 11.14.80 to 9.6.60. In Round Two, the better players on the day were Wilem Floreani, Sebastien Bell-Bartels, Angus Livingstone, James Burnip, Finn Urie, Darcy Doyle, and Cooper Withers.
On Wednesday 29 August, the team will play in the Grand Final against Daylesford in Bacchus Marsh. Good luck boys, and great work on two excellent rounds so far!
