Braemar Student Recognised with Fred Hollows Humanity Award

Last week, one of our Year 6 students, Lyla Smith, was awarded the Fred Hollows Humanity Award for 2017.
This prestigious award is given to Year 6 students who show outstanding compassion, kindness and goodwill towards others in their everyday lives.
The Chair of the Fred Hollows Foundation (and former Premier of Victoria), John Brumby, presented Lyla with the award at a ceremony in Melbourne.
Congratulations Lyla; what a wonderful recognition of your positive contribution to the community.
