TOMORROW NIGHT: Parent Workshop with SPELD Victoria
Tomorrow evening, Carol Allen will be presenting a workshop for parents on the topic of Assistive Technology.
It is clear that having access to the right technology to support an educational activity or target is essential for many students, including those with learning difficulties. However, it is important that technology doesn’t lead the learning.
Hosted in Melbourne from 6-9pm, the workshop will explore the use of ICT at home (and at school) to assist in reducing barriers to literacy. It will include practical and easy-to-implement solutions that will allow parents to try new strategies in their own homes.
