Help Ms Pemberton fight MND!

Ms Pemberton and her family are, once again, involved in supporting Fight MND this year; a cause committed to finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

You’ll likely all have seen the blue ‘Fight MND’ beanies around town, or perhaps you’ve watched ‘the big freeze’ during previous footy seasons – another fun initiative where funds are raised to support Fight MND that has seen many a famous sporting personality dropped into a pool of ice water wearing some kind of funny costume.

In previous years, Ms Pemberton, her family, and the wider community supporting this cause have been able to sell the beanies through local sporting clubs at their weekend games, as well as through the Gisborne Market. Unfortunately, this year most of these opportunities have been unavailable. As an alternative, the group have arranged for the beanies to be sold at various local retail outlets.

The local businesses supporting the cause and making the beanies available for purchase are listed on the flyer; click here to download. If you’re unable to get to one of these locations, the group is also offering delivery. Please contact Ms Bron Pemberton via b.pemberton@braemar.vic.edu.au if you’d like to arrange deliver.

Earlier this week, we shared photos and footage of some of our students who have made significant efforts in community spirit and service by supporting the Cancer Council and the World’s Greatest Shave; it’s great to share a story from a member of our staff making similar efforts to support an amazing cause.

Pop into one of the locations below to get your beanie, while stocks last, and join the battle to FIGHT MND.
