Free Parent Webinars by eSafety Commissioner
The eSafety Commission provides some excellent resources for parents, especially their free webinars.
This coming term, the focus topic for their webinars is ‘eSafety’s Guide to Online Sexual Harassment and Image-Based Abuse’. This topic is particularly useful and designed for parents and carers of our Senior School students, aged 13-18.
It will include practical tips, information, and advice, and will cover:
- the difference between online sexual harassment and image-based abuse
- how to report online sexual harassment to social media companies
- how to report image-based abuse to eSafety and when to report to police
- where to get support if you feel upset or worried about something that has happened online.
The Term 3 dates are as below:
- Wednesday 28 July – 12.30 to 1.30 pm
- Thursday 29 July – 7.30 to 8.30 pm
- Tuesday 10 August – 7.30 to 8.30 pm
- Tuesday 24 August – 12.30 to 1.30 pm
