Wheeltalk

This week our Year 9/10 Sport and Recreation class were visited by the WheelTalk program by Disability Sport and Recreation. WheelTalk have come to the school for the last few years and it is always a class favourite.

This year was no exception; read a few of the reflections from the students below:

“I really enjoyed it as it was something different for everyone and it was a challenge to control the chair while using the ball.”

“It was so much fun, really educational. I recommend it to everyone. 10/10!”

“I really enjoyed the opportunity and gained a greater understanding of disabilities overall. It was a fun activity with a good purpose.”

“I enjoyed having the opportunity to play wheelchair basketball as it gave me a clearer insight into what it’s like to play sport with a disability. It was a fun activity.”
