Tree Planting at the Woodend Campus
On Friday 4 May, staff and students travelled to our new Woodend Campus to plant 1,200 trees. The activity was part of an initiative to connect all students and their teachers to their new campus and welcome them to the site.
Each of our six Houses – staff and students together – worked to plant 200 plants under the guidance of a number of students who had worked with Landcare to receive training, so that they could act as tree planting monitors for the afternoon.
These new trees will enhance the Woodend Campus for many years to come; it was great to be able to involve our current students.
