New Website Launch
It’s time; our new website is officially here!
Our new College website has a fresh, modern look and feel, filled with images to provide insight into life at Braemar.
The responsive design of our new site means that it can be easily viewed on devices of any size, providing increased accessibility for visitors to find out everything they need to know about our College including opportunities to get in touch or book a College tour.
The design of the new site sees two ‘versions’; Braemar College and Braemar Parent. This is to allow a clean and efficient user experience for our two main audiences:
- Braemar College (the main site that you will be directed to) is built with prospective parents, employees, and other external visitors in mind. It provides all the general information about our College environment, curriculum, leadership and governance, and enrolment process.
- The secondary site, Braemar Parent, is designed to show information that is more relevant to a current parent or student. This includes links to SEQTA, the blog, uniform and tuck shop price lists, and a number of other resources.
Another exciting update sees the Braemar Blog now built-in as part of the website. From now on, the Blog will have the same look and feel as the rest of our site. Any subscribers to the blog will continue to receive email notifications whenever a new post is published and anyone who wishes to receive these updates can subscribe using the sign-up form at the bottom of any page on the Braemar Parent site.
One substantial difference for our parent community is the change in the second-hand uniform selling procedure. With the launch of our new site, we have created a Braemar Community Buy, Swap, Sell Facebook Group. This will allow members of our Braemar Community to buy, swap, and sell unwanted or second-hand uniform items and resources or to submit requests for items they’re after. More information about this group will be announced before the end of this week.
Finally, our College Calendar has had a makeover as well. You can still rely on the calendar for all the same information and detail as before, but it is now designed to match our modern, branded site to make it easier to navigate.
