Fundraising at Tieve Tara: THIS WEEKEND

This Saturday, 21 April, and again next Saturday, 28 April, students from two of our cultural immersion trips will be hosting a barbecue fundraiser in the stunning, private Gardens of Tieve Tara on Mount Macedon, from 10:30-4:30 each day.
The students will be from Year 10 and Year 12, working to raise funds to support their local community service projects later in the year in Cambodia and Nepal respectively.
The Year 10 students visiting Cambodia at the end of September will be assisting the Treak Community Centre and classroom in a community project which will greatly improve the lives of the residents. The Year 12 students visiting Nepal in November will complete four days of community service work at the local Shree Bukha Deurali Secondary School. Both trips are a great opportunity for our students to make a difference to remote communities.
All funds raised at the barbecue food stalls at Tieve Tara will go directly to these projects in Cambodia and Nepal, so grab the family and come and visit these spectacular local gardens and support our students in their efforts.
