Has the Equestrian Team been calling your name..?
All students who ride are encouraged to join the Braemar Equestrian Team. Reflecting the values of the school, the team is non-selective, inclusive and encouraging of participation.
The Braemar College Equestrian Team is well known for its camaraderie, with students from Years 5 to 12 involved and supporting one another, making it a great experience to be involved in both training and events. The team competes in Dressage, Show Jumping, Horse Trials, Showing and Combined Training, with 270 other schools throughout Victoria.
Everyone is welcome!…however, you do need to have your own horse to join the team.

Our annual Interschool Show Jumping Competition is coming up on Sunday 30 May.
Hosted at Candlebark, home to the Riddells Creek Pony Club, this is an amazing opportunity to get involved and compete, while representing the College.
Entries close on Monday 17 May. Entries will only be accepted online via www.eventsecretary.com.au.
The successful history of Equestrian at Braemar…
Braemar College has a long history of Equestrian endeavour, reflecting the equine pursuits the surrounding areas are renown for, and from which our students are drawn from. Braemar has:
- finished in the top five schools in the Interschool State Championships for the past 10 years
- won the State Championship in 2015 and 2016.
- won the Victorian Equestrian Interschools Dressage Series Championships every year from 2011 to 2016.
We’re very hopeful that this success will continue for many years to come…and maybe you’ll be a part of it!
