2019 CBCA Book Week

As we look back on another great term, we have been so lucky to have some great opportunities and activities take place for our students to take part in.

Late last month was 2019 Book Week across Australia, this year’s theme was ‘Reading is my Super Power’.

Our Instructional Leader – Encounter, Mrs Sharon Hitti, made sure there were some fantastic reading activities arranged including a book display featuring the 2019 CBCA Book Award winners, a reading competiton, and a great pop-up reading space that featured beanbags and soft classical music. creating a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. It was wonderful to see so many students keen to join in and enjoy some relaxed reading!
