2019 Academic Awards
This week, on Tuesday 11 February, we celebrated the academic achievements of our students throughout 2019 at our annual, whole-school Academic Assembly.
Congratulations to all the students who were recognised and who achieved Subject Awards, Academic Excellence, and Honours.
At this assembly, we also recognise and celebrate the Dux and Dux Proximus for each year level from Year 5 to 12. Particular mention this year goes to our Year 12 College Dux, Melanie Almond, and College Dux Proximus, Patrick Grindlay.
Patrick finished the year with an ATAR score of 97.4, as well as receiving Subject Awards for the top scores in English and Drama.
Melanie received Subject Awards for Biology as a Year 11 student in 2018 with a perfect score of 50; and in 2019 for Chemistry, French, Literature, Mathematical Methods, and Specialist Mathematics, finishing the year with an ATAR score of 99.75.
