CSEF Funding Applications – Open Now

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) commenced in 2015 for four years and will provide payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions. Families holding a valid means-tested concession card, or temporary foster parents, are eligible to apply.
$125 per year is paid for eligible Year 5 & 6 students, and $225 per year paid for eligible students Year 7 and above. Payments are made directly to the school and are tied to the student. It is expected that approximately 222,000 Victorian school students will directly benefit from the CSEF.
CSEF applications are open from Term One, 2018. A photocopy of your Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) must accompany your application.

Important Note: The requirement for parents to complete and submit a new application form each year has been removed. This means that parents who received CSEF Funding at Braemar in 2017 do not need to complete a new application form in 2018 providing there has been no change in their family circumstances/eligibility to apply. Braemar’s Registrar, Mrs Trudy Shepherd, has already transferred and lodged all 2017 applications into the CSEF 2018 system. Parents who received CSEF funding at a previous school in 2017 will need to submit a new CSEF application for Braemar in 2018.
