Group Guidelines
This group has been created to provide members of the Braemar College Community a space to buy, swap, or sell uniform items or resources.

Our group adheres to Facebook community standards, and our own standards of play nice.
What you can list on here;
– Uniform Items (new or second-hand)
– School Resources (e.g. textbooks, stationery)
What you can’t list on here;
– Any items, products or services that do not comply with Facebook’s Commerce Policies
– Animals
– Business adverts
– Commercial quantities of items from a Business
– Service provider adverts including and not limited to: nanny, childminding, car-pool, etc.
– Real Estate adverts with links to external websites
– Holiday houses
– Handmade/craft items in multiple quantities
– Home-cooked items
– Quantities of items bought specifically for resale
Listing requirements
– All items listed for sale must have a pick-up location within the Macedon Ranges or surrounding towns
– Fixed price sales only – No auctions
– Local pick up ONLY – no postage or delivery charges for out-of-zone listings
– Posts can be BUMPED after 3 days only
– No more than 10 posts per member per day
Why might my post be deleted?
– If you breach any of these guidelines
– If you have bumped earlier than 3 days
– If you have posted more than 10 items for sale within a 24-hour period
– If your pick-up zone is outside of our group areas or not clearly identified
– If your post is offensive or abusive
Why would I be removed from the group?
– If you posted an offensive, abusive or bullying comment or post
– If your pick-up zone was outside of group zones
– If you posted a commercial or business listing
– If you were abusive to another member by private message, and this was reported to the Admin team.
– If you BLOCK Admin
I want to alert ADMIN to a post that breaches group guidelines
– Group Members can alert the Moderating Team to posts that may require review by using the ‘REPORT TO ADMIN’ option from the drop-down menu on each post.
– If you choose to report the post to an admin, the admin will know that you reported it. Admins may or may not choose to remove the post or block the person who shared the post. Reporting a post to an admin won’t send a report to Facebook. The original poster does not know that their post has been reported, or who has reported it.

You can message Admin via the Admin Facebook Page. Please allow up to 48 hours for a response.
The SALE Process
Once you want to commit to buying something: comment SOLD and then contact the seller to make pick-up arrangements (to pick up and pay).
The Admin team provide and moderate this forum to facilitate sales, but it is not our responsibility to resolve issues between Sellers and Buyers. If a SELLER behaves inappropriately, let ADMIN know, and any SELLERS who are consistently reported as selling items that are incorrectly described, in poor condition, and/or faulty will be removed from the group.
COMMUNICATE
– Comment SOLD, message the seller, arrange a pick up and follow through.
– NIL – if someone got to it before you, comment NIL (next in line) to show your interest, you never know your luck
– Message your Buyer, send them pick up details – give them at least 24 hours to get back to you – if they don’t respond, pass to NIL (Next in Line).
Pay with CASH
– Cash is the preferred method of payment within this group – we strongly discourage members from direct deposits before pickup or PayPal. PayPal buyer protection does not apply to transactions within groups like this.
Can I get a REFUND?
– this site is not RETAIL, guarantees and refunds are not applicable.
– We trust that items are sold in good faith with their condition described accurately, but it really is up to the Buyer to check the item before handing over the cash.
– Buyers must check items thoroughly before leaving cash and should not feel obligated to take the item if it differs from its description, is in poor condition or faulty. Any items that needs to be tested should be done so in presence of the Seller.
DELETING YOUR POST
All posts need to be deleted once the item has been SOLD and collected. Posts OLDER than 3 months will be removed by Admin when time permits. It is however members responsibility to delete their old posts.
WANT TO BUY
If you are looking for something, you can post to the group detailing what you’re after. Members can comment or message you directly if they can help.
CHARITY/DONATION POLICY
All requests for Charitable Donations/Cash must be approved by the Admin team prior to posting.
We do not permit posts or comments soliciting cash deposits to personal accounts, regardless of the story or situation.
DISCUSSIONS
We expect all comments to remain respectful and polite. Aggressive, speculative, or misleading comments will be removed, and where deemed necessary by Admin, the member will also be removed from the group.
Multiple posts about the same community issue will be deleted leaving only one to keep news feed as clean as possible.
