Braemar College uses an independent testing authority, Academic Assessment Services, to conduct the scholarship examinations. Academic Assessment Services have been providing academic assessment services for schools for more than forty years and were chosen for the following reasons:
- Assessments are designed using higher-order items to distinguish students of higher ability.
- Tests are administered, scored and reported by Academic Assessment Services ensuring complete impartiality on the part of the College.
- The use of multiple testing formats which avoids any practice advantage.
- Test results are at all times secure and confidential.
