2024 Academic Scholarship Registration is now OPEN

Registrations for Braemar scholarship testing, for the 2024 academic year, are now open.

The scholarship testing will take place in Heyward Hall at Braemar College (Mount Macedon Campus) between 8.45am and 12.30pm on Saturday 25 February 2023.

The College offers four Academic Scholarships; two are offered at Year 7 and two at Year 10. All students, regardless of their enrolment status, who are Australian Residents and who will complete Year 6 or Year 9 in 2023 are eligible to apply for the scholarships. The scholarships provide for a 40% remission of the total annual fees and charges for the remainder of the student’s enrolment at Braemar College. Current scholarship holders are not eligible to gain another scholarship.

Braemar College uses an independent testing authority, Academic Assessment Services (AAS), to conduct the scholarship examinations. Academic Assessment Services (www.academicassessment.com.au) have been providing academic assessment services for schools for more than forty years and were chosen for the following reasons:

  • assessments are designed using higher-order items to distinguish students of higher ability;
  • tests are administered, scored, and reported by Academic Assessment Services ensuring complete impartiality on the part of the College;
  • multiple testing formats are used, which avoids any practice advantage; and
  • test results are secure and confidential at all times.

All applications must be registered online using the link to the AAS Scholarship Registration page provided via the Enrolments tab on our College Website.
Click here to access the registration page directly.

The charge is $115.00 per candidate.

Applications close at 4.00pm on Friday 17 February 2023.

We encourage all young people to consider the scholarship opportunity at Braemar College. Best of luck to all applicants.
